What you can expect at the Bhoomi Utsav

Enriching Experiences:
with the several interesting workshops for all members of your family…
learn a Kabir song, learn a tribal dance, listen to talks by Shri Narayana Reddy and watch short documentaries, participate in workshops for simple weaving, pottery, making delicious food and understanding health and healing.

Delicious Revolution:
The highlight of the food stalls will be nutritious and tasty millet and veggie dishes – from masala dosas and Kozhukattais to yummy salads and laddus, all made with millets and organic veggies.

Heartwarming Music and Dance:
The Soliga tribals will set the tone by dancing and teaching you how to do some tribal dances… there will be lively folk music and Garba dancing to top it all!

A Farmers’ Market
There are dedicated farmers who do not put toxic chemicals into our foods, and grow them with care. Meet them and buy their produce – and we may learn how to eat healthy and tasty food.

Sustainable Clothes and Crafts
Join our more than 20 innovative stalls for clothes and crafts – desi kurthas, khadi cottons, seeds and gardening material, recycled items, natural soaps and cosmetics without parabens and other chemicals.
