The Green Bazaar is back with its 7th edition on Sunday, August 24th , at the TERI Lawns, Domlur, from 8 AM to 7 PM. With its theme of ‘Let’s Recycle’, The Green Bazaar this time is all about making recycling cool and promoting a culture of conscious consumption. It promises to be Bangalore’s biggest Recycling Festival with junk art installations, composting workshops, demos on how to reuse everything from leftover food to old canvas shoes, upcycled product stalls and activities for children and adults. Visitors can also bring in their e-waste and dry waste and have it disposed off responsibly at the day long fair.

As Bangalore grapples with a growing garbage management problem, headlines scream about Mandur and inform us that our city is the 3rd largest producer of electronic waste in the country, it is time for a reboot, a rethink on how and what we buy, what we trash, and evolving a life cycle for our purchases that is in line with nature’s cycle.

The Green Bazaar will inspire you to think more creatively about everyday objects so you can become champions for a more sustainable, ecologically friendly way of living.

Here’s a map to TERI:
